"Before BMF I was so lost with the financial side of my business..." 

...I was acting like the money I brought in was just like when I had a salary with no consideration for the additional aspects that come with running a business.

During the program, my biggest aha moments were being told how much value I was actually giving away and therefore severely undercharging and also going through the cash flow analysis and pricing formula where I worked out my hourly rate based on how much it costs to run my business, earn a salary, cover taxes, and GST and also put away for super.

I now feel more confident in working out my rates and pricing to better create a sustainable business that works for me in the long term and take a more business-like approach to my business rather than employee-like approach.

I especially appreciated Justine's openness to discuss her personal experiences in business and finances over the years, it really helped me to feel less alone - which can sometimes happen when you're a freelancer.
